The Jeneviere

History:

The Jenivere is a ‘Wyvern-clas’ merchant ship. Wyvern class vessels are commonly used by the Inner Sea nations for trade, exploration, and even war. The Jeneviere was prized by it’s captain for its combination of seaworthiness and capacity for carrying numerous passengers. Wyvern-class ships have made the dangerous journey to Azlant, Arcadia, and even around the southern tip of Garund, but the Jenivere and her crew ran less perilous voyages.

For the past several years, Captain Alizandru Kovack has made the western run between Magnimar to the north and Eleder to the south and then back with few complications, despite the fact that his route carries him through waters controlled by the piratical Free Captains of the Shackles, brushes with the eternal winds of the Eye of Abendego, and into periodic conflicts with the Nidalese navy. Although Captain Kovack’s crew appreciated this record, the feeling that the Jenivere had robbed luck’s coffers one too many times lay heavy on the hearts of it’s crew during it’s final journey.

While the Jenivere was a merchant ship, primarily concerned with delivering goods to and from Sargava, she’s traditionally kept several compartments open to take on paying passengers. This last trip is no exception, with all nine of the guest cabins were filled with those of ill-fate. As the characters have spent some time aboard the Jenivere, they have at least passing familiarity with these others making the passage to Sargava, and a few notable
members of the Jenivere’s crew.

Smuggler’s Shiv:

During the night of their shipwreck, the Jeneviere was dashed against the rocks of the Shiv’s northern shore. It was smashed in two, with one half submerged and the other wedged against a cliff face by the incoming tide. On the first day, a group of the more active castaways made their way onto the ship to salvage what they could. During their exploration of the wreck they found the bodies of the first mate and the ship’s cook, both having died in unusual circumstances. Over the course of the first evening, the ships fierce waters smashed the wreck against the cliff face. With it’s remains sinking to the bottom of the coves waters or scattered by the incoming tide. The large number of corpses attracted the attention of the islands scavengers and for the nights after their crash, the watchmen witnessed intense swirling green patterns in the surf.

Since becoming marooned on the Shiv, the surviving Castaways have become a powerful faction onf the island. The group spent it’s first 3 nights in a temporary campsite before moving accross the island to it’s current location where water, food and shelter is more plentiful. They have since found clues that point that they are not the only survivors of the Jeneviere.

The Camp’s dynamic has yet to elect a leader, however several of the castaways have taken certain roles in the group. With Jask and Sasha performing most of the groups hunting; a group consisting of Malachios, Kren, Tavar and Jensen spend their time exploring the island for resources of potential use to the castaways. Ishirou and Aerys perform most of the guard duties. While Gelik maintains and values the loot brought back by the exploration team. Despite their initial distrust of him, Jask is the most productive castaway and he has found ways of motivating most of the others. On day 4 he chaired the camps first group meeting and many see him as the spokesperson of the group, coming to him with problems before anyoine else.
